Pimlico is a small area, built as a southern extension to Belgravia in the City of Westminster within central London. Pimlico is famous for its Regency Architecture and garden squares. The neighbourhood is bounded by the River Thames to the south, Grosvenor Canal to the west and Vauxhall Bridge Road. The suburb is separated from Belgravia to the north by Victoria Railway Station.

The suburb contains several attractive Anglican churches among which are St. Gabriel’s, St. James the Less and St Saviour's. Since 2005 the district is home to the Chelsea College of Art and Design that moved in the building of the former Royal Army Medical College. Because of its proximity to the House of Parliament, Pimlico is a centre of political activity.
